Philosophy of Librarianship
I firmly believe that libraries have evolved beyond being simple book repositories. They should strive to become the cultural epicenters of our communities, serving as vibrant, dynamic spaces. Their primary purpose is to cater to the diverse needs of their community, welcoming everyone with open arms. Libraries are not just for books; they are for people, knowledge, and inclusivity. They should be catalysts for lifelong learning, innovation, and collaboration with local institutions. Librarians, as stewards of knowledge, must advocate for the enduring relevance and adaptability of libraries in an ever-changing world.
